Carefully unpack all components from the flight case and inspect them for any damage. If there is any damage to your vehicle, please document and report it to ****. {% endhint %} ## Mounting the wings Take the DeltaQuad Evo out of the flight case and place it on a flat surface with the landing gear deployed.
The wing has a large spar near the leading edge and a smaller spar near the trailing edge. In front of the large spar is a keying mechanism in the form of a cuboid.
This keying mechanism prevents mounting the wings on the wrong side.
{% hint style="info" %} The wings of the DeltaQuad Evo must be mounted with the **wingtips pointing downwards**. {% endhint %}
Slide the carbon spars of the wings into the corresponding blind holes in the fuselage.
When fully locked, a clicking sound from the wing lock mechanism should be audible, and the wing lock must sit flush with the fuselage.
{% hint style="info" %} The wing is not properly installed if the wing lock does not make a clicking sound or does not sit flush with the fuselage. {% endhint %} ## Disassembly and storage To disassemble the DeltaQuad Evo, follow the assembly steps in reverse order. Press down on the wing lock mechanism with your thumb while using the same hand to hold the fuselage in place. With your other hand, pull the wing away from the fuselage.
